Please read the following information on our current COVID protocols!
We are currently open for our normal, pre-COVID business hours; however, our schedule is subject to change due to the turbulent nature of running a small business during a pandemic. Please like and follow us on Facebook for last minute schedule changes or important news.
At this time, we are operating under a fully curbside model of care, as recommended by the NYSVMS and the AVMA. This means that human clients are to remain in their vehicles while we care for our furry patients (exceptions made in the case of euthanasia and on a case by case basis for anxious/uncooperative pets). We are asking clients to call us from their vehicle upon arrival to let us know they are here and to wear a face mask when interacting with our staff in person. Our parking lot will have numbered spots to help our staff locate you, so please let us know which spot you are in when you arrive as well.
All dogs are required to be leashed with a collar (or harness) and cats must be in carriers for safety purposes. Please make sure that your pet's collar/harness is fitted properly so that they cannot back out of it during transfer to our staff. Similarly, if your pet is in a carrier, please make sure that the door is latched securely and the hardware holding the carrier together is in working order. Failure to fulfill these requirements will result in your appointment being rescheduled.
Due to the volume of calls and appointments that our staff is handling due to COVID, we are instituting a new clinic policy regarding medication refills, effective immediately. Moving forward, we will require 24 hours notice for prescription refills. If a medication is needed immediately, an additional fee will be added for expedited same day prescription processing. Please plan accordingly and call us to refill your pet's medications BEFORE you run out.
Finally, we are ALWAYS accepting new clients/patients. However, please be advised that our schedule can book out up to 2 weeks or more right now, so it may not be possible to get your pet in for problem visits in a timely fashion. Under these circumstances, you should utilize the local emergency clinics when you are not established with a regular veterinarian for well care. We do require a deposit on new client appointments (including clients that have been inactive for over 3 years) that will be applied to your visit, or forfeit in the event that you do not show up for your scheduled appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
